When Suzanne Vega's debut album - Suzanne Vega - was released in 1985, it was a platinum-selling success. With two hit singles – Luka and Tom’s Diner -featured on her next effort, Solitude Standing (1987), the undeniable talents of this Manhattan native were firmly established in the hearts and minds of legions of fans across the world.
Since then, with a total of 8 solo albums and songs featured on soundtracks of major Hollywood films, the commercial and critical acclaim for this incredible singer/songwriter, who wrote her first song at the tender age of fourteen, continues.
Supporting Suzanne Vega was country music sensation Sara Storer, who has achieved a string of awards since first coming to prominence in 2001 when she released her first album Chasing Buffalo. The result of this album was three number one singles on the Australian Country Charts.
